About the event

Join us for another Breathwork session at the FBS geodome on 2/2. Attendees will have the option to sauna session before or after the guided Breathwork session.

This guided group breathwork session offers physical and emotional relief thorough deep exploration of mind, body and spirit. Expect to receive transformative insights, sense of clarity, and potentially altered states of consciousness.

Sauna and cold plunge will aid you physiologically and emotionally to enhance and/or integrate the Breathwork experience.

GROUP BREATHWORK: 6-730p

Your facilitator, Charlie Compost, will be combining two main forms of Breathwork: Wim Hof Method and the Conscious Circular Breathing Method (also known as Conscious Connected Breathwork). The result of the Wim Hof Method is stimulating and rejuvenating for your somatic systems. Conscious Circular Breathing has a stimulating effect for the mind and spirit. These methods are combined in one seamless flow to the rhythm of a curated sound track and facilitation is provided on timing of the breath. Before we begin, Charlie will offer a brief presentation of the structure of the techniques and what is happening physiologically with your body. A short debrief will follow.

Please Note: This style of breathwork can be demanding physically, energetically and emotionally; therefore, we do not recommend it for anyone who is pregnant, has had heart attacks, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, severe hypertension, severe bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy, or has recently had any major surgery.

-Do not eat a heavy meal before breathwork, light eating is ok

-Bring a water bottle, light blanket, two small pillows (one for head and one for back of knees), and a yoga mat or extra blanket.

-Optional: Bring pen and journal for jotting down any personal revelations from experience.

For sauna bathing, bring flip flops, a towel, bathrobe and a clean change of comfortable clothing or pajamas.

Feel welcome to contact either Lusa (seatsusauna@gmail.com) or Charlie (empowering.breath@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
